Gingerbread House

Well, I can't believe that it is already Christmas Eve. It seems that this Christmas season has gone by so fast. Thankfully we are ready for the big day tomorrow. We have been really getting into Christmas this year because it is our first Christmas together and I really wanted to make it memorable. One thing that we have done is make a beautiful gingerbread house. We went over to the Llewellyn house and made it there. It was so fun and the whole family got invovled. We had a blast and we each put our own touches on it to make it great.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner and things could not be going better. It will be Wes and my first Christmas together, married and I am so exicted. It is so fun to have my own house that I could decorate but it proved more difficult than I had thought. I had a vision of what I wanted the house to look like but I had no decorations. Luckily my mom has more than any twelve people so I went Christmas decoration shopping at her house. I then transformed our little house so it was Christmas worthy. We also went and got our first little tree. Our house isn't very big so we decided to go with a little one. We decorated it together and it has just been so fun. We can't wait until Christmas!

The Babies

Bridget and Ethan are both home now and they just get cuter everyday. They are such a blessing to have in our family and right in time for the holidays. They are both concentrating on getting bigger. They are basically eating and sleeping and sometimes they are awake and smiling. Ethan is getting better at holding his head up and making the cutest baby noises. Bridget is right behind her brother and is the cutest little girl ever. She is still so small and she looks like a little baby doll. My mom and I even dressed her up in doll clothes the other day. It has just been so fun every minute, at least for the ones that aren't feeding them at two o'clock in the morning! We are just the luckiest aunt and uncle!

My sister, Jessica, had twins on September 26! She had a boy and a girl, Ethan and Bridget. They were born pretty early so they had a long way to go before they are able to come home. Ethan was born about 3lbs and Bridget was born about 2.5lbs. Ethan was just allowed to go home a few days ago and we couldn't be happier. Bridget still needs to get a little bit bigger and master breathing and feeding. They are so cute and I can't believe that they are actually here!

Married Life

Wes and I have been married now for almost 7 months and it couldn't be any better. I can't believe that it has been that long already. We are living in a cute little condo in the middle of Valencia that is all ours. I have started to decorate for Christmas and it is beginning to feel like home. We back right up to the park so it could not be a more perfect spot. Wes is working and going to school trying to finish as soon as possible and I'm just working part time. We have the perfect life right now!
